Most brands make primer as an afterthought - one lonely product at the bottom of a long range. We built a brand that only makes primer. Because the difference between makeup that fades by 3 PM and makeup that still looks fresh at 8 PM is never the foundation. It's what goes underneath it.

  • What does makeup primer actually do? 

    Primer creates a smooth, grippy layer between your skincare and your makeup. It gives foundation something to hold onto, which is why primed makeup lasts longer, looks smoother, and settles less into lines.


  • Is makeup primer really necessary? 

    If your makeup fades, settles into lines, or looks uneven by mid-afternoon, yes. Foundation is designed to add colour, not to grip. Primer is designed to grip. Most people blaming their foundation are missing this one step.

  • Is primer the same as moisturiser? 

    No. Moisturiser hydrates your skin - that is skincare. Primer preps your skin for makeup - that is skin prep. One cannot do the other's job, which is why 'my moisturiser is enough' usually ends in 3 PM fade.

  • Do I need a different primer for my eyes and lips?

    Yes. Eyelid skin is thinner and oilier than facial skin, and lip colour fails at the edges. Eye primers set cream-to-powder to stop creasing; lip primers condition and anchor the edge line. A face primer was never designed for either.

  • Which primer is right for me?

    Dry or dull skin: start with a hydrating gel primer like our Glow Gel. City days, sensitivity or shine: start with a defending cream primer like our Smooth Cream. Eyes and lips have their own dedicated formulas: Eye Fix and Lip Fix.

  • Are your products vegan, clean and Australian made?

    Some are, and we tell you exactly which, never as a blanket brand claim, because our 4 formulas genuinely differ. Glow Gel Primer is vegan, cruelty-free and Australian made. Other formulas carry different credentials: the Smooth Cream Primer, is not vegan. Every product page lists that product's exact credentials and full ingredient list.
